Kronora (“the app”) is a watch collection tracker published by AppVita Studio. It helps you catalogue your watches, their value, service history, accuracy, straps and how often you wear them. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Everything you enter in the app - watches, brands and models, serial numbers, purchase prices and valuations, insurance details, service records, accuracy measurements, straps, wear log, wishlist, notes, and the photos and documents (receipts, warranty cards) you attach - is stored only on your device, in the app’s private storage.
We do not collect it, we do not transmit it, we do not share it and we have no servers that receive it. There is no account and no registration.
The only time this data leaves your device is when you choose to export or share it (JSON backup, CSV export, PDF reports or the collection image, through the Android share sheet): in that case you decide where it goes.
When you add a photo or a document, the app asks Android to let you pick an image. The selected image is resized and saved inside the app, on your device. The app does not access the rest of your gallery and does not upload any image anywhere.
Kronora is free and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob.
To serve ads, Google may collect and process:
This processing is carried out by Google as an independent data controller, according to its own policies:
None of the collection data you enter in the app - watches, values, serial numbers, photos or documents - is ever shared with the advertising network. The two things are kept completely separate.
You can watch an optional rewarded video to hide ads for 24 hours.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows you a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ad is loaded. You choose whether to allow personalised advertising.
If consent is not given, no ads are requested at all.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings > Privacy options (ads) inside the app.
The app can remind you when a service or a warranty expiry is coming up. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device; no notification passes through our servers, because we have none. You can refuse or revoke the notification permission at any time in the Android settings.
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or any of your collection data. The app does not request the location permission and uses no analytics SDK of its own.
The app is not directed to children. It is intended for users aged 18 and over.
Since your data never leaves your device, you are in full control of it:
For anything concerning advertising data processed by Google, you can exercise your rights directly with Google through the links in section 3.
If this policy changes, the “last updated” date at the top of this page changes with it, and the new version is published at this same address.
