Poffi (“the game”) is a virtual pet game. This policy explains what data the game handles.
Your pets (their names, needs, growth, outfits), your coins and items, your rooms, quests, trophies, statistics and settings (sound, music, vibration, reminders, language, visual options) are saved only on your device. The pet keeps living while the game is closed: the game uses your device clock for this, nothing is sent to us. Photos you take in Photo mode are saved inside the game’s private folder on your device and are never uploaded. Uninstalling the game deletes all of this.
The game works offline. It has no account, no login, no chat and no social features, and it does not ask for access to contacts, location, camera, microphone or your photo gallery.
If you allow notifications, the game schedules at most two friendly reminders a day on your device (for example “your pet is hungry” or “your daily gift is ready”). They are created locally, never sent from a server, and can be switched off at any time in Settings > Reminders or in your phone settings.
The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a Google Play Families self-certified ads SDK. Ads never appear while you care for your pet or play a mini-game, and rewarded videos are always optional and clearly marked “Watch a short ad”.
Because children play Poffi, every player is treated as a child, whatever their age:
To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may still process limited technical data such as the IP address (used for an approximate location), device and app information, and interactions with the ads. Because personalised ads are never shown, the game does not need to ask for advertising consent.

Poffi is designed for everyone, including children aged 9 and over, and follows the Google Play Families policy. The game does not ask for or collect any personal information: there is no account, no chat, no contact with other players and no in-app purchases. The name you give your pet stays on your device. Parents who have questions can write to us at the address below and we will answer.
