Privacy Policy - Terapora

Terapora (“the app”) is a medication reminder app published by AppVita Studio. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

1. Your medication data stays on your device

Everything you enter in the app - medication names, doses, times, notes, intake history, stock counts, profiles and useful contacts - is stored only on your device, in the app’s private storage.

We do not collect it, we do not transmit it, we do not share it and we have no servers that receive it. There is no account and no registration.

The only time this data leaves your device is when you choose to export it (backup, adherence report or CSV): in that case it is copied to your clipboard and you decide where to paste it.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Terapora is free and is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob.

To serve ads, Google may collect and process:

the advertising identifier of your device (Android Advertising ID)
technical data such as device model, operating system version, language and approximate location derived from your IP address
data about interaction with the ads shown

This processing is carried out by Google as an independent data controller, according to its own policies:

No medication data you enter in the app is ever shared with the advertising network. The two things are kept completely separate.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows you a consent form managed by Google (User Messaging Platform) before loading any advertising. Until you make a choice, no ad is requested.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: open the app, go to Settings and tap “Ad privacy options”. That entry appears whenever your region requires it.

You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier from your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

4. Optional ad-free time

The app offers an optional rewarded video: if you choose to watch it, you get 24 hours without advertising. Watching it is entirely voluntary and refusing it does not limit any feature of the app.

5. Permissions used

Notifications - to deliver your medication reminders at the time you set.
Exact alarms - so reminders fire at the precise minute rather than being delayed by the system.
Run at device boot - to restore your reminders after the phone restarts.
Internet and advertising identifier - only to display the ads described in section 2.

The app does not use GPS, the camera, the microphone, your contacts or your files.

6. Children

Terapora is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

7. Deleting your data

You can delete individual medications, profiles and history from inside the app at any time. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data from the Android settings, permanently removes everything it stored on your device.

Since we hold no data on our own servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

8. Medical disclaimer

Terapora is only a reminder tool. It does not provide medical advice and does not replace the judgement of your doctor or pharmacist. Always consult a healthcare professional about your therapy, your dosages and possible interactions, and check yourself that the times and doses you enter are correct.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
